Paddle Something Unusual at Paddle Round The Pier. Paddle Round the Pier festival is an event for environmental and maritime charities featuring various sea events including Paddle Something Unusual where groups and organisations are invited to participate in a float race. Participators construct their own rafts form recycle materials and enter the chilly English Channel at Brighton Beach in aid of charity. This takes place at Hove Lawns, City of Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, UK. 5th July 2015
