PACIFIC OCEAN, Calif., -- Marines conduct maintenance on a CH-53E Super Stallion on the flight deck of the USS San Diego (LPD-22), April 11, 2017. The 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit uses the air assets provided from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 161 (Reinforced) to transport personnel and equipment from ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore efficiently.
