Bengal tigers, residents of the Miami Metrozoo. Each tiger has a distinctive stripping pattern. The orange tigers are sisters and the white tiger has been their adopted sister since they were all 6 months old. The white tiger is not an albino; the white coat is product of a recessive gene and as such it is a variation of the orange color. When tigers meet they may rub heads or make a proofing sound as a greeting.
