More information:

In the 1920s, the fast growing Siemens factory in the western suburbs of Berlin needed housing for the workers and at the end of the decade Martin Wagner recommended six architects from the group 'Der Ring' to design the estate built between 1929-1932. This block was designed by Hugo Häring. The other architects involved in the design of the estate were Walter Gropius, Hans Scharoun, Fred Forbat, Paul Rudolf Henning and Otto Bartning.
