Nymphaea 'Sirius' Water Lily. Named for the brightest star in the sky, this oustanding lily lives up to its name by producing large purplish-red flowers in profusion. Leaves are flecked maroon before maturing to all green. Hybridized by Latour-Marliac Nursery in 1913.
