November 11, 2016 - Titusville, Florida, United States - Former astronaut Buzz Aldrin, the second person to walk on the moon in 1969, participates in the grand opening of the United States Astronaut Hall of Fame at the Kennedy Space Center visitor center on November 11, 2016 in Titusville, Florida. Aldrin was evacuated from the South Pole for medical reasons on December 1, 2016. The 86 year-old, who was part of a tourist group to Antarctica, was taken to a hospital in New Zealand where he is responding favorably to treatment for fluid in his lungs. (Paul Hennessy/Alamy)
