Thousands of aliens enter the U.S. illegally by walking across the desert of Southern California. In an attempt to slow the waves of persons crossing the Mexican/ US border illegally, the US government has established a high tech virtual fence with tower cameras and a low tech footprint in the dirt detection system. The dragging of used tires flattens the dusty dirt roads so as to detect fresh footprints of the illegals as they cross into the USA. The low tech method may still yield more stops of illegals than the high tech method. The mountain in he background sits in Baja California, Mexico and is called "Mount Signal". Temperatures in the mid day can exceed 48C / 118F. Midnight temperatures may exceed 42C / 108F and the waves still roll in. This places pressures of social services of schools and hospitals. The flood of illegal immigrants can place financial pressures on locals.
