June 24, 2017 - MüNchen, Bayern, Germany - As part of a Bavaria-wide action, as well as other cities throughout Germany participating, well over 3, 000 citizens, politicians, and refugee group volunteers in Munich organized a demonstration and subsequent march to the Staatskanzlei of Bavaria in protest of the resuming of refugee deportations into war zones. After a botched arrest and deportation of an Afghan refugee from a classroom in Nuremburg and a bombing of the Diplomatic Quarter of Kabul, Germany temporarily suspended deportations until a review of Afghanistan was complete. The student in Nurenburg was said to have fulfilled prerequisites to stay, but the government of Oberfranken intentionally withheld the delivery of pertinent documents in order to enable a “blitz arrest” and successful deportation at any cost. Refugees are reporting widespread corrupt practices by the workers of the BAMF- Bundesamt fuer Migration und Fluechtlinge that signal that they are not going through asylum processes, but, in fact, deportation proceedings the entire time- resulting in accusations of human rights violations by Germany by various NGOs, church groups, and human rights groups.
