Rescue workers on the side of the capsized ferry. The Townsend Thorese owned M/S Herald of Free Enterprise was a roll-on roll-off (RORO) car and passenger ferry. En route to Dover she capsized shortly after leaving the Belgium port of Zeebrugge, due to her bow doors not being closed. 193 people died.
