Built in 1535 in the reign of Ubaydallah Khan of the Uzbek Shibanid dynasty. The facade echoes earlier Timurid examples in the region, with a central entrance iwan, flanked by two dome chambers, one of which was the mausoleum of the founder, the other a lecture hall. The domes and facade have been heavily restored recently.
