Crowds gather in protest of the Fullerton, California, Police Department and City Council followign the death of KellyTHomas, a 37-year-old homeless and mentally ill man. Thomas's July 5 arrest by six officers turned violent, leaving him in a coma. He died July 10. As a result of this meeting a recall has begun towards three council members: Don Bankhead, Mayor Richard M. Jones and Pat McKinley.
