Malham Cove in Malhamdale in the Yorkshire Dales is a well known beauty spot. It is an ancient 80 metre / 260 foot limestone waterfall formed by meltwater from a glacier above. To the west of Malham Cove are some 400 steps to the top of cove which form part of the Long Distance Path the Pennine Way.
