From the sheer joy of being alive to wonder, cheekiness and surprise, these extraordinary pictures show how the next generation have their emotions written all over their faces, even though the tiny people are totally new to the world. Incredibly, while comfortably snoozing the little newborns are capable of sitting in the types of positions even a dedicated yoga master would find eye-wateringly difficult. The woman responsible for the heart-warming shots, Sandi Ford (35) from Ealing, London is one of the few photographers in the country able to place her subjects in the “frog” pose. Sandi carefully places sleeping babies on their bellies with their heads propped in their hands and moves their feet to face forwards like a frog.
