More information:

Lefka Ori or White Mountains is a mountain range in Western Crete with steep ranges to the Livyan Sea at the southern coast and well known for its bald structure with very few vegetation which gives the white colour. The altitude beween 800 and 1200 meter has in deep contrast a lot of pine forests.
