Reichsfuehrer SS Heinrich Himmler (with his back to the photographer) and Reich Chancellor Adolf Hitler in the crypt of the Quedlinburg cathedral at the grave of the German King and Holy Roman Emperor Heinrich I (919-936) from the family of the Liudolfinger (Ottonian). Heinrich I was particularly worshiped by Himmler as Empire founder and Slav fighter - Heinrich I defeated the Slavs in 928/29. Himmler considered himself the reincarnation of the King.
