"Heavy Horse and Foal". Granite 7x10x5 ft. 10.00 tons. This sculpture is a statement about the heavy horse - how much it is part of our heritage - long before the Industrial Revolution when machines took over on the farms, railways and canals. It is also a statement about love which is as strong in the animal world as in the human world. Ronald Rae was born in Ayr, Scotland in 1946.
