Fmr. Florida Gov. Jeb Bush of the National Constitution Center at the New York Public Library announcement of an agreement to display their copy of the original Bill of Rights at the unveiling of the document at the main branch of the library in New York on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. The over 200 year old document is one of 14 copies made and distributed to the 13 former colonies and the federal government. This copy has not been displayed for decades and a state of the art box containing protective glass and argon gas to prevent deterioration is being constructed for it. The copy will be displayed by the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia from 2014 to 2017 and then traveling back to the NYPL where the library will continue to display it 60 percent of the time.
