He is tho former SS-lance corporal and deputy-comaandar of the concentration camps Sobibor and Treblinka. Since the end of the Second World War H&gner lived - unidentified - in a country house near Sao Paulo. When he vas recognized now and arrested, some days later a former inmate of Sobibor, Polish writer Stanislaw Szmajzner, acknowledged, that Wagner is the former deputy oomnonder of Sobibor (that was denied by him).
