Elia Viviani, Team Sky, climbing the Struggle on the second stage of the 2016 Tour of Britain cycle race. He can be seen carrying an injury from a stage one crash, heavy strapping and bandage. He is also sporting his new gold shoes as recognition of his status as olympic track champion. The stage was held in Cumbria and visited the many areas that were affected by the flooding in 2015. It was a strong message for those communities that Cumbria was open for business once again. The Struggle is a first category climb straight out of Ambleside and leading up to the Kirkstone Pass.
