Dr. RUPERT NEUDECK during the first Interfaith Peace Pilgrimage in Kevelaer/Germany on May 28th 2015. Rupert Neudeck (born May 14th. 1939 in Danzig) is a German journalist, co-founder of the Cap Anamur German emergency doctors and Chairman of the "Green Helmets" Peace Corps. Neudeck became known worldwide by the 1979 rescue of thousands of Vietnamese refugees (so-called "boat people") in the China Sea with his boat Cap Anamur.
