(dpa) - German film director Soenke Wortmann (R) poses with the main cast of his new film 'The Miracle of Bern' ('Das Wunder von Bern'), actor Peter Lohmeyer (L) and his real-live and movie-son Louis Klamroth (C), ahead of the premiere in a cinema in Essen, Germany, 15 October 2003. The film, set in a war-torn Germany, tells the story of the first German World Cup victory of 1954 in Bern, Switzerland, from the point of view of an impoverished family in the coal-mining region of the Ruhr Basin. It was the first time a German side had participated in the World Cup games after World War Two, and their victory in the final against Hungary became famous as the 'miracle of Bern'.
