David Wagstaffe is an English former footballer who played the majority of his career for Wolverhampton Wanderers as a left winger. He was known as 'Waggy' to fans and fellow players.David was the first player to receive a red card in English football and be dismissed from the field of play on the day the cards were introduced. 28th July 1967.
