In typically British conditions (drizzle) the 22nd World Championships Bogsnorkling took place in the smallest town of Wales: Llanwrtyd Wells (700 inhabitants). In a specially dug trench in the Waen Rhydd peat bog of 60 meters long and 1, 2 meters deep competitors swim or snorkle back and forth without using regular swimstrokes. This leeds to great spectacle when snorklers swim into the walls due to the lack of underwater visibility. 200 people from all over the world competed from (for instance) UK, New-Zeeland, USA and Australia.
