Wanda Skowron was born in 1936 in Warsaw, Poland. She studied history and taught, ran libraries and even worked as a clerk. Her long life was as colourful and diverse as her own paper-cuttings. She has practiced the art of paper-cuttings from an early age. She represents in them the plants, birds or fragments of landscapes seen on a cloudy day. Her poetry has been published in books and periodicals. She travels the world and creates bouquets from grasses. http://khit.pttk.pl/index.php?co=ws_start
