Chilean Flamingos (Phoenicopterus chilensis). Showing 'ankle' or tibio-tarsal leg joints, with plastic engraved identification ring left resting just above tibio-tarsus, or ankle joint. Red pink ankle with otherwise the leg colour is grey, typical of this species in adult plumage. View from rear end of bird. Native to southern temperate South America.
