More information:

Originally built in 1964 as a single deck Bedford coach, the vehicle now used as a tour bus was rebuilt in 1982 as a replica of a London General Omnibus Company B-type motorbus. These were originally built in 1910 to replace horse-drawn coaches and were among the earliest double decker buses in the world. By 1913 more than 2, 500 had been built and they remained in service until 1927. This tour bus is one of only three replicas that were built, and has been ferrying tourists around Chester since 2005.
