Two high-rise blocks on St James Drive in Bootle, Merseyside failed fire safety tests carried out this week. On Sunday June 25, 2017, contractors are removing cladding after the landlord instructed the cladding to be removed immediately. There has been no evacuation of the affected tower blocks.
