Baby Elsa On view at the London Zoo for the first time to-day is the female Puma cub Essa. She was born to Lola and the father Sabre, on November 10th. Puma cubs, unlike their grey brown coated, parents, are spotted at birth, and these markings gradually fade as they grow older. Sabre the father was once the mascot of the Cougar Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force, which flew in Sabre jets. When he grew up however he took too great a liking for the cook's leg, so they sent him to the London Zoo
