More information:

The main task, that Interactive ski simulators solve, is imitation of centrifugal forces, which are applied to the skier or snowboarder during skiing on the ski slope. As a result, during lateral movement of skies or a snowboard the skier can feel the same forces that during movement on the ARC of a CIRCLE. It is possible because the human body is inertial. And in both cases (during lateral movement and during movement on the arc of a circle) the force applied to the body is the same – inertia. Moreover, the direction of this force in both cases is the same – this force is perpendicular to the skies or snowboard.
