An unmarked van, thought to be carrying the Great Train Robber Ronnie Biggs, leaves RAF Northolt, West London, after Biggs' plane landed from Rio de Janeiro. He was arrested at 9.05am under a warrant for being unlawfully at large 20 minutes after arriving back in Britain. Officers from the Metropolitan Police detained Biggs at RAF Northolt where heflew in in a private executive jet at 8.45am.
