More information:

Afon Conwy in spate after prolonged rainfall.- the river Conway near conway Falls, Betws y Coed in North Wales. The source of the Afon Conwy lies on the high moorland area of Migneint where llyn Conwy is situated above the village of Penmachno. Afon Machno flows into Afon Conwy above the Conwy Falls. The River Conway is fed from Llyn Conwy, a lake on the upland moors of Migneint which is an area of special scientific interest and flows through Snowdonia and the Conway Valley to exit into the sea at the North Wales Coastal town and tourist attraction of Conwy. It is joined by Afon Machno, Afon Lledr and Afon Llugwy near the village of Betws y Coed.
