A young boy undergoes rigorous stretching exercises in physiotherapy. A young boy suffers from a wide range of symptoms brought on by massive brain damage caused at birth. At three months doctors' prognosis was that he would spend his entire meaningless life lying motionless and that a proper institute was the only solution. Parents refused to accept their destiny and brought their son home to grow up in family surroundings. Boy undergoes weekly physiotherapy sessions to treat abnormal muscle tone, spasticity, spasms and involuntary movements. Rigorous stretching exercises to the full extent of muscle range are both painful but necessary for lengthening muscles and tendons and preventing future surgery.
