A windmill forms the centerpiece of the New Amsterdam Village in Bowling Green Park as part of the NY400 exhibit in New York on Friday, September 4, 2009. 400 years ago Henry Hudson sailed into the harbor to discover what was later to be called New Amsterdam and then New York. The exhibit and trade show sells Dutch food and products including cheese and wooden shoes. As part of NY400 a replica of Hudson' ship the Half Moon will sail into the harbor and there will be music and other ceremonies. (© Richard B. Levine)
