A cased pair of Czech percussion pistols,Thaddäus Poltz,Karlovy Vary,circa 1770.Octagonal two-stage barrels in 14 mm calibre,round and smooth after a girdle,with surface-mounted brass front sights.At the breeches remnants of gilt floral engravings as well as the numbers "1" and "2".Florally cut,converted percussion locks,each signed "Thaddeius Poltz".Carved,bright walnut stocks with horn noses and bronze fittings with rocailles in relief.Wooden ramrods with horn tips.Length 33.5 cm each.In a later(?)wooden case complete with extensive accessorie,Additional-Rights-Clearences-Not Available
