RM2DE67D2–1960s, historical picture showing a large pre-cast concrete external wall panel with window frames on display in the grounds of the company, with small pre cast concrete slabs showing what they are orginally made from. These wall panels were manufactured and suppiied in this era to builders of so called 'modern' housing, office and tower block construction projects. As the large concrete panels were made off-site, they reduced the cost and time of the build and were hard-wearing and fire safe. With their stark external appearance, they were referre to as s 'Brutalist' style of architecture.
