1951 advertisement for Napier aircraft and marine engines. The advert promoting the company appeared in the official guide to the South Bank Exhibition, Festival of Britain, 1951. The festival also marked the centenary of The Great Exhibition of 1851, Hyde Park, London. This advert features an illustration of Hawker Tempest aircraft, which were fitted with Napier Sabre engines and first saw service in 1944 - a vintage nineteen fifties item for editorial use only.
