Sheerness Dockyard Church: emergency restoration work has started on this groundbreaking Heritage Lottery Fund project with additional grants from Historic England. Sheerness Dockyard Trust (whose chairman is Will Palin, son of Michael Palin) aims to repair and transform the church, which stands at the entrance to the former Royal Dockyard on the Isle of Sheppey.
