Satirical cartoon, A Panic on both sides or great men in the Horrors!! Pitt and Fox sit back to back implacably opposed. Pitt, sitting on a chamber pot, has a paper labelled Convention Bill (the Seditious Meetings Bill and Treasonable Practices Bill styled by radicals 'a Convention Bill') while Fox has a paper inscribed Copenhagen Meeting (the mass meetings held by the London Corresponding Society in Copenhagen Fields), calling for reforms. Pitt exclaims 'I wish from my heart those cursed field meetings were put a stop to' while Fox admits that the 'abominable' Convention Bill will mean that opposition will be over. Date: 1795
