Panther Creek Falls is one of the larger as well as most beautiful waterfalls in northern Georgia. They are approximately 50 feet high but are probably 80-100 feet wide. Access to the falls is easiest from the western trailhead of the Panther Creek Trail located at the Panther Creek Picnic Area off Historic 441 near Turnerville, Georgia. The hike is over 3 miles and generally follows Big Panther Creek down stream to the falls. Big Panther Creek is a tributary of the Tallulah River in northern Georgia.
