More information:

The interior of the old halite or salt mine in the town of Nemocón in the Cundinamarca department of Colombia. This section has been illuminated by LED lights. There are areas of water troughs on the floor, and the decorated roof of the mine shaft is reflected in what is called a "water mirror". Salt deposits can be see on the walls of the mine. Photography is freely allowed inside the mine. There are several tourists in the image but the long exposure has caused them to become blurred and unrecognisable. Photo taken with that camera on a tripod and a long exposure. Horizontal format; copy space.
