Construction of St John's church began on on the 12th May 1841. The Church was consecrated on the 6th April 1843. A 25ft long chancel along with and organ chamber on the north side was added in 1873. Extensive renovation took place between July 2008 and July 2009. This image is exclusive to Alamy.
