John "Segs" Jennings, bass guitarist, lead singer, and founding member of British punk rock band Ruts DC, formerly known as The Ruts, performing live on stage at The Brook. The original lineup consisted of Malcolm Owen, guitarist Paul Fox, bass player John "Segs" Jennings, and drummer Dave Ruffy. The Ruts later became known as Ruts DC after the death of lead singer Malcolm Owen in 1980, They disbanded in 1983 and reformed again in 2007.
