Soldiers from the 3rd United States Infantry Regiment, traditionally known as "The Old Guard," carry American Revolutionary War Private Samuel Howard during a reinterment ceremony at Resthaven Cemetery in Baxter, Ky. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District worked with local community and state officials to move Howard from Wix-Howard Cemetery when his grave was endangered by soil movement from a design deficiency of a flood control project completed in the 1990s.
