Prince Charles in full regalia as he is presented to the Welsh people at Queen Eleanor's Gate. His coronet weighs only three pounds and is of pure gold crystals. Prince Charles wears the purple ermine-trimmed mantle and carries the rod and sword which with the amethyst ring are the insignia of the Prince of Wales. His uniform is Number One blue regimental dress of the Royal Regiment of Wales, of which he is Colonel-in-Chief. Date: 1969
