The Woodley family has been identified with the old fami-lies of Long Point country almost from the beginning of thesettlement, and the remainder of this sketch will be devoted toa brief genealogical review of the family. It is said that three Woodley brothers—George, Tice andLevi—emigrated from Germany to the New World aboutthe middle of last century, and that George and Tice settledin the colony of New Jersey, and Levi wandered away andwas never again heard of.
