Parking prevention methods have been increased even more on The Queen's Sandringham Estate as wooden posts have been installed at one of the only free parking areas left. The posts have been put around a parking area that now only allows enough room for 9 cars, meaning that it leaves drivers with no other option than to park in the official car park. Over 1km of soil bunds, up to 2 feet high in places, stretch almost all the way from Sandringham House to the A149. Signs have been erected saying 'No parking on verges, please use official car parks'. The official Sandringham car park now charges
