Orange Bowl Stadium, Miami, Florida, USA, 1958. Vintage postcard showing a bird's eye view of the stadium and the surrounding parking areas. Opened in 1937, the Miami Orange Bowl was the home stadium of the American Football team of the University of Miami, the Miami Hurricanes. Until 1995 it also hosted the annual Orange Bowl game, one of the premier end of season bowl games in college football. From 1966 until 1986 the stadium was also home to the Miami Dolphins, the city's National Football League (NFL) team and hosted four Super Bowls. The Orange Bowl closed in January 2008 and was demolished shortly afterwards.
