In the women's race, Ethiopian Asayech Ayalew Bere was the winner with a time of 2:25.05 hours, succeeding her compatriot Sechale Dalasa, winner in 2019. In second place was also Ethiopian Almaz Negede Fekade, with 2:27.12 hours, while the third place was Ugandan Toroitich Linet Chebet, with 2:28.33 hours. The EDP Lisbon Marathon is already considered one of the most beautiful marathons in the world by international entities such as the Forbes, the Huffington Post and American Express, who elected the Lisbon Marathon as an event not to be missed.
