It is the first true continental convertible built since production of the Lincoln Continental series was suspended in March 1948. The Cabriolet is only 57 inches high ad carries out the modern formal theme typical of the Continental Mark II hardtop coupe, a prestige car being produced in limited volume by Ford Motor Company.
