Oct 07, 2006; Mundaka, SPAIN; Fosters MenÕs Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) World Tour, Billabong Pro Mundaka, Spain, 2-14 October 2006. NATHAN HEDGE (Narrabeen, NSW, Aus) lost out to Phil Macdonald (Aus) and Raoni Monteiro (Brs) in round one of the Billabong Pro Mundaka today. Strong currents and inconsistent surf saw Hedge struggle to find the waves he needed to win the heat and he was sidelined to the losers round two. Hedge is currently lying in 33 on the ASP ratings and needs to post some strong results in the remaining three events if he hopes to gain enough points to re-qualify for 2007. The Billabong Pro is the ninth of 11 stops on the Fosters MenÕs ASP World Tour and features the top 45 surfers in the world and 3 wildcards.
